Tuesday, September 18 in room 104 of the Robertson Library, at 7:00 p.m. Bursaries and Scholarships The P.E.I. Council of Women is offering a bursary at the University of Prince Edward Island. The terms of this bursary are as follows: This award will be made annually on the recommendation of _ the Scholarship Committee to a student of mature years, female, full-time in any year. Application forms are available at the Registrar’s Office. The deadline for applications is Friday, 12 October’ 1990 -and = the announcement of the winner should be made later in October. The U.P.E.1. Alumni Association offers three scholarships valued at $1,000 each for 1990-91. Following are the terms: 1. Applicants must be full-time students in Senior year at UPEI carrying at least a normal load of five courses per semester and scheduled to graduate in May 1991. 2. The awards will be based on academic performance and financial need. 3. The awards will be for one year only. 4. Applications must be received at the Registrar’s office no later than noon on Friday, 12 October 1990. Application forms are available at _ the Registrar’s Office. Student Employment The Alumni Office requires 26 students to work on the ANNUAL PHONATHON - a_ telephone fundraising project - 2 evenings a week from 6:00 - 10:00 P.M. for the month of October. Salary: $5.00/hr. The main requirement for this work is a clear, confident telephone manner. A script and training are provided.
