The late Mr. MacNeill was born in New Dominion, son of the late Donald D. and Cather- ine MacNIill and was the last surviving member of a family of eleven children. At an early age he moved with his family to Nine Mile Creek where he spent most of his life as a farmer un- til in 1948. due to ill health. he was forced to retire. Being possessed of a quiet. but friendly nature. he was al- ways ready to lend a help hand to any one who might his assistance. He was greatly in- terested in political alfatrs. and was always a staunch supporter of the Liberal party. He was an adherant of New Dominion Unit- ed Church. and as long as health permitted he was a regular at- tendant at the services.
