Robert MacKay. at home; and Eleanor Jean. who is attending a ladies college in Massachucetts. It is interesting to note that Dr. Ebers advancement to one of the top executive positions in his com- pany. coincides almost exactly with the Silver anniversary of his marriage. Dr. Ebers is a member of the American Chemical Society. the Society of Plastic Engineers, and active in the Society of the Plas- tics industry. He resides in Wash- ington. Conn. Tweedy confirmed the previous conviction of Carl Arsenault of Summerside but changed the penalty to two years suspended sentence in the Court of Criminal Appeal sitting in Char- lottetown Wednesday. in the orig- ingal case against Arsenault on a charge of break. entery and theft. Magistrate Strong sentenced the 15-year-old youth to two years in Dorchester Penitentiary. in ad- dition to the sentence of yesterday. Arsenault is required to enter into a recognizance of 81.000. consist- ing of two sureties of 5500. each. He will also be required to report to the Summerside Police Chief every month. The bench referred the case of Joseph Ivan Aisenault back to the juvenile court yesterday with the former conviction and sentence quashed.
