T. Tantou on Summer Street. The fire started in tile maids bedroom and was first noticed by lier when she went up- stairs after breakfast. She saw smoke coming from the bedroom door. Considerable damage was done to the bedclothes, dressing table, curtains and floor. It; is thought. the fire originated from some papers in the waste paper basket which had become ignited.
