Wedding Trinity United Church, Char- lottetown was the scene of a very pretty wedding on July 25th, at 3 o'clock, when Florence Mildred, gaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Macllachern, Hopefield. was uni- ted in the holy bonds of matri- many to Arthur Ludiow, son of , and Mrs. Hector Jenkins, Marshfield. Rev. A, Frank Ma.cLean per- formed the, double ring ceremony. The church was decorated with baskets of snap masons. lurk-spur. aglphinium. Phlox and roses. The wedding music was played by Mrs. Keith Rogers. During the sign- ing of the register Miss Nancy Mi-icNevin sung ”l'll walk Beside You" and "0 Perfect Love." The bride, given in marriage by liier brother-In-law, Mr. Vernon Duck of York, looked charming in I floor length gown of white net over satin with tulle inserts. The bodice was strapless with a. bolero jacket of cliantilly lace and long lilly-pointed sleeves. Her linger tip veil was of French illusion fashioned with a tiara of net and held in place by lillies of the valley. She carried a cascadc bou- quPt of red roses. The bride was attended by her sister, M.iss of Halifax. ivho wore a strapless floor length gown of orchid net over satin with matching bolero, headdress and net mittens. She carried. a nosegay of mixed flow- rrs, yellow being the outstanding color. The groom was ably supported by his friend, Mr. Lowell Balders- ton of North Wiltshlre. The ush- ers were Mr. Roy Pursey of Char- lottetown and Mr. William Baker of Beach point. The Bride's mother chose for her daughter's wedding a dress of navy blue with white accessories and a oorsage of white carnations. The groom's mother were a dress at iiavy blue with white acces- sories and a corsngc of white cat'- nations. Following the ceremony a re- ception and buffet luncheon was held for a large number of fi-tends and relatives at Villa Waters. Pink and white carnations and a three tier wedding cake topped with miniature bride and groom adorn- ed the bride's table. Rev. A. Frank Ma.oLean proposed the toast to the bride which was capably re- aponded to by the groom. Assist- ing in serving were a number of friends of the bride - Misses Elsie Madbougall. Marie Toole. Amid showers of confetti the nappy couple left on a honeymoon trip through the Maritimes Foi travelling the bride chose a blue ili-ass with white accessories and I corsaige of white oarnations. Prior to her marriage the bride was entertained by the staff of the Provincial Treasury at a treasure hunt and kitchen shower at Stan-hope beach, also at a mis- cellaneous shower given by -her girl friends at the home of Mrs. Howard MacLauchlan. On returning from their honey- moon thls popular couple will re- side in Charlottetown where they are both employed. IN MEMORIAM MARY ELIZABETH FLYNN Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Flynn slip- Pod swu peacefully at her home at Bed-ford on May 29. . Before her marriage she was Mary Elizabeth Arbin, born at Suf- folk 85 years ago. She mar- ried Wallace Clow who predeceas- ed her early. in life. Later she married Patrick Flynn, who also died some years ago. Left to mourn are two eons, Pct- rick Flynn, Bedford, and W. W. CIOW. Grand Tracadie; two sons, Charles and James Clow prede- ceased her. also three brothers, John and George Arbin, Suffolk, and William Arhin. Millcove. Two lislf-sisters, Sarah of P. E. I. and Lvdll. New York: one half-bi-other Drive, New York, one sister and one half-sister predeceased her. Also left to mourn are five grand- children and three great grand- children.
