Because of his friendly, neighbour- -tlee. his devotion to duty. his lovely chrisrtian character and his support at all worthy ca-uses. Mr. Macxinhon was held in very high esteem by all who knew him. For seventeen years he was con- lined to his room and quite helpless through illness which altlictlon he bore with ’beaArtliu.l patience. Mrs. Macxinnorl, with the assistance 01 the members of their tamily. lov- lngly and efficiently cared for their loved one all those years. The fun- eral service held in the home, was very largely attended and conduct- ed by the minister. Rev. A. C. Fraser. The favourite hymns "The Lord's My Shepherd" and “Abide with Me" were sung. Mr. Willard Bruce and Mr. John Bears impress- ively sang a duct. "Peace Perfect Peace". committal service was in the Valleyfleld Cemetery. Besides Mrs. Maoxinnon. the members of the family who sur- vive are: Four daughters (Annie) Mrs. Malcolm Mnizhesocn, Heather- dale; (Marjorie) Mrs. Alex. A. Max:- Phee.
