An Act for appropriating certain Monies therein mentioned, for the Service of the year One thousand Eight hundred and Sixty-seven. [Passed May 17, 1807.] MAY 1r PLEASE YOUR EXCELLENCY: E, Her Majesty’s dutiful and loyal sub- jects, the House of Assembly of Prince Edward Island, toward appropriating the seve- ral supplies raised for the exigencies of Her Majesty’s Government, do humbly beseech that it may be enacted : And be it therefore enacted by the Lieutenant Governor, Council and Assembly, that by, and out of such monies as from time to time shall be and remain in the public Treasury of this Island, there shall be allowed and paid for the services herein men- tioned the several sums following :—- A sum of eight thousand and seven pounds and ten shillings to defray the salaries and a1- lowances provided by law. And a sum of five thousand pounds for the service of Roads, Bridges and Wharves for the present year, the same to be appropriated to each County in the following manner:— Queen’s County, including Charlottetown and Royalty, one thousand seven hundred and forty-two pounds. Prince County, one thousand four hundred and twenty-nine pounds. King’s County, one thousand four hundred and twenty-nine pounds. Opening new Roads under Road Compensa- tion Act, one hundred pounds. Contingent expenses of Roads, Bridges and Wharves to be equally divided between the three Counties, three hundred pounds. And a sum not exceeding two thousand five hundred pounds, to be placed at the disposal of the Lieutenant Governor or Commander-in— Chief for the time being, for the purpose of the Volunteer and Militia Forces under the Statutes in force. And a sum of five hundred pounds at the disposal of the Government, to be paid to Pau- pers during the current year, to be divided among the Counties in the following propor» tions: e i ' Queen’s County, two hundred pounds. King's County, one hundred and fifty pounds. Prince County, onehundred and fifty pounds. And a sum of six hundred pounds, at the disposal of the Government, for the purpose of Steam Communication between Souris, George- town, Murray Harbor, Pictou and Charlotte- town. And the following sums, at the disposal of” the Government, for the following services, namely; Public Printing and Stationery, one thou- sand pounds. Incidental expenses of Lunatic Asylum in addition to allowance by statute, one thousand pounds. ‘ Cro wn Prosecutions and Crown Officers’ fees, for miscellaneous services, four hundred and fifty pounds. Crier of Supreme Court, twenty pounds. Coroner’s Inquests, one hundred pounds. Harbor Master, Charlottetown, seventeen pounds ten shillings. Guard at Government House, fifty pounds.
