The conference will help celebrate a century of wildlife conservation - on the 100th anniversary of Last Mountain Lake Wildlife Sanctuary Canada's first. Field trips are planned as far north as Churchill, Manioba, and as far south as the Cypress Hills, Saskatchewan - from tundra to boreal forest to aspen parkland to grassland. Between June 5 - 8, interested naturalists will meet at the University of Saskatchewan. The symposium emphasizes Conservation on the Prairies - past and present. The banquet features Saskatoon berry pie and other local treats. A wine and cheese party at the Diefenbaker Centre highlights a Nature Art show as well as Diefenbaker memorabilia.
