Her M ajesty's dutiful and loyal subjects, the House of Assembly of Prince Edward Island, towards appropriating the several supplies raised for the exigencies of Her Majesty’s Government, do humbly be- seech that it may be enacted, and be it there- fore enacted by the Administrator of the Gov- ernment, Council and Assembly, that, by and out of such monies as, from time to time, shall be and remain in the public Treasury of this Island there shall be allowed and paid for the services herein mentioned the several sums following :— A 'sum of 'Five thousand pounds for the service of Roads, Bridges and \Vharves for the‘" present year, the same to be appropriated to each County in the manner following: ‘. Queen’s County One thousand seven hund—' dred and forty-two pounds. ‘ ' King's County One thousand four hundred and twenty-nine pounds. Prince County One thousand four hundred and twenty-nine pounds. Road Compensation, one hundred pounds. Contingent expenses of Roads, Bridges and VVharves, to be equally divided between the: three Counties, three hundred pounds: And a sum Five hundred pounds for the paupers of the three Counties, in the follow~ ing proportions: For Queen’s County, two hundred pounds For King’s County, one hundred and fifty pounda For Prince County, one hundred and fifty pounds. . And the following sums at the disposal of the Government ‘for the following services : Summer and \Vinter Mails, a sum sufficient. Contingent expenses of the House of As- sembly, a sum sufficient. Board of Health and Hospitals, two hundred pounds. Inland Mails, a sum sufficient. Public Postage, one hundred pounds. Commissioners for issuing Treasury Notes, thnty pounds. l two hundred Two Auditors of Public Accounts, one hundred pounds. Messenger of Executive Council, TWenty pounds. ' Gas Company, for Gas, one hundred pounds. Fuel for public offices, one hundred and fifty pounds. ' Harbor Master, Charlottetown, seventeen pounds ten shillings. Guard at Government House, fifty pounds. Gas light and Fuel for Government House, thirty pounds. Signal Station and disbursements, twenty- five pounds. Government House Committee, four hund- red pounds. Paupers, Indians, one hundred pounds. Small grants to poor and infirm people, three hundred pounds. At the disposal of the Government, in Council, for the purpose of organizing a Poor House, in aid of subscriptions or otherwise, pounds At the disposal of the Government, for casual purposes, one hundred and fifty pounds. Volunteer Militia, under statutes of this Is- land, a sum not exceeding one thousand five hundred pounds. Encouragement of Agriculture and local Industry, three hundred pounds. Cascumpec Agricultural Society, ten pounds. County Postmasters, in addition to their salaries by statute, one hundred and twenty pounds. _ " ‘ Expenses of three County Jails, nine hund- red pounds. Messenger of public offices, fifty pounds. Market Clerk, Georgetown, five pounds. Saint Paul’s and Scattarie Light-houses, forty-five pounds. ' Harbor lights at Saint Andrew's Point, Fif- teen pounds. ‘ Harbor lights at Rustico, fifteen pounds. Harbor lights at Tracadie, fifteen pounds. Harbor lights at Saint Peter's, fifteen pounds. Harbor lights at Murray Harbor, fifteen pounds. A Harbor light at New London, fifteen pounds. Harbor light at Crapaud, ten pounds. Public Printing-and Stationery, a sum sufficient.
