LONDON, Juno 10-Sir I-lBnllik0i` ` ng. m The hand of the Reaper has been very busy in the Corn-wall Methodist Church during the last year or two and on Wednesday last, June 5th. there was gathered into His harvest one of its most prominent members, Miss Eliza Mayhew. True, it is, that Vllss Mayhew’s life had run its ai- lotted span 'of seventy years but dur- ing those years she had so knit her- self into the affections ofthe Church and community that her place will be bard to fill. Unselhsh, ever putting the thoughts of others before herself, a willing worker, 9, generous giver to every good cause, she has entered in- to that noble service alone enjoyed by those who serve faithfully here be- low. The funeral took place from the residence of John Boyle, her brother- in-law, with whom she had lived, on Friday, June 7th, and was very largely attended. The services at the house and grave were cond-ucted by Rev. Fred W. Sawdon. She leaves be- hind her two sisters and one brother to mourn her deceasc, Mrs. Robert Boyle, Clyde River; Mrs. Frizzel, Cornwall, and Mr. Mayhew, New lion- don. lieallh for Every Woman No More .
