He is a graduate of Dalhousie University and for the ast few years has held the posit on of trust officer at the head office of the Eastern Trust Com- pany in Halifax. Mr. Blssett is remaining here for about a. month and a, half in order to familiarize his successor with the work of the Charlottetown branch. Mrs. Bissett and family will remain until the end of Dc- cember. ‘They plan spending their summers on the Island in future. A past president of the Char- lottetown Board of Trade, Mr. Bissett is at present a member of the council of that body and also chairman of the Board's air trans- portation committee. He is also vice president of the P. E. I. div. islon of the Red Cross Society, a member of the advisory board of the P. E. I. Exhibition Association. and one of Prince Edward Island's representatives on the Maritime Transportation Commission. While his services in these and other capacities will be felt as a loss to ths community, his promotion to head of the Montreal branch of the Eastern Trust Company is re- garded a well merited recognition his ability and experience. Mr. Richardson, is now in Char- lottetown. The Propert Committee of the Prince Edwnrdy Island Hospital beg leave to report as foilows:—- The Hospital Buildings and grounds are at present in First Class condition. The niaintainence repairs have been attended to promptly by your engineers and any beyond their equipment to handle were psomptiy reported and the necessary skilled workmen and equipment secured. The dcmisiic hot water tank was cleaned and inspected. The two main boilers received their regu or official inspection. They had the usual replacement of grates and other repairs. The ice making ma- o"iin= and refrigeration plant wee ovrrhauled and any needed replace- ments made. Orig of the five steel cables in the hoisting equipment of the elevator became frayed and all of the cables were replaced with nciv ones. These cables had been purchased more than a year ago and held until needed. The X-Ray criuipinsnt was overhauled inspect- ed and necessary replacements made. The expert who did this work on the X~Ray equipment, praised our deep therapy machine as being light up to date. and while he stat- ecl that the other X-Ray equipment was cqusl to any in the Province he suggested that for about $5000.00 he would install the very latest of X-Rny photographic ma- nfs.
