daughter of the late Mr. Gallon J.
Maclnnis became the bride oi' Willi-
am F. Pierce of the 105th Ilighland
Regiment. The bride was attired in xi
beautiful suit of blue broadclotli with
hat to match, trimmed with white os-
trich plumes and was attended by 'ner
cousin Miss Florence Macluuie who
wore blue with white hat. The groom
who was ottlred tin his smart khaki
auit was ably supported by Mr. Joseph
Shreenen. After' he nuptiai knot was
tied by Rev.»Bernard Gills, P.P.. the
balmy couple drove to 'the home of
the bride where a very tempting
breakfast awaited them. The wedding
party then went on a short drive af-
ter which a sumptuous dinner was pre-
pared, the immediate friends and neig-
hbours being present. 'I'-he remainder
of the___evenln_g was spent lu dancing
and the singing of patriotic songs. The
costly presents which were received,
attested to the high esteem in which
the bride and groom were held. The
guests then dispensed to their homes
highly pleased with the pleasant
