Bentley. the branch 01- Iice located at Charlottetown grew steadily to become ohe of the Islands major life insurance bran- ches. Although Mr. Bentley retired as branch manager in I952. he con- tinued his connections with the company as Supervisor until his death a year later. . In 1952, Mr. Robert E. Hart took over the branch nianagership. carrying on the steady Maritime Life expansion until Marci-i or this year when he was succeeded by the present. manager. Mr. Keith B. Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins joined the R.C.A.F. in 1940 and after graduation wasl appointed wireless instructor, ground and air. until his discharge in October 1945 when he was em- ployed by Maritime Central Air- ways as dispatcher and agent, serv- ing as such until August 1952. Then he entered the Maritime Life agency staff, culminating with his present Branch Manager appoint- ment.
