     Our first impression ofthis Province wasone of beauty and the further impression that this 
     
     Is an ideal place In which to grow and process the high type of food products that Can- 
     
     adians have come to expect of us. 
     
    
   
   
    
       
     
    
   
   
    
     As we built our plant we found a new experience—-the complete support of an excellent 
     
     group of men who formed our construction crew. Many of them will remain with us and become a 
     
     permanent part of the Langley family. 
     
    
   
   
    
     But beyond all of this has been our experience in working with officials of the Government 
     
     of Prince Edward Island, the Town of Montague and Its people and a host of Island suppliers who 
     
     have helped us with the materials we needed to build our plant. 
     
    
   
   
    
     From the beginning this has been a many-sided cooperative venture. Had any one segment 
     
     failed to play its part our plant would not be in existence today and ready to operate. 
     
    
   
   
    
       
     
    
   
   
    
     We are proud of our new plant and we are happy it is located in Prince Edward Island. 
     
     To the Government the Town of Montague, and to all who have given us their help and friend- 
     
     liness we say, "Thank you." The best of our venture together is yet to come. Men and women will 
     
     be manning our plant. Island farmers will be supplying our raw product needs. We will be 
     
     needing many of the special services that are required for a plant such as ours. And as we grow 
     
     there will be many occasions when the Government of Prince Edward Island and the Town of 
     
     Montague will be working closely with us.
