Mr. Lemay brings with him a tremendous wealth of experience, having served as artistic direc- tor of opening ceremonies of the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, opening and closing ceremonies of the 1989 Canada Summer Games in Saskatoon, and the highly ac- claimed Canada Heritage Festival Productions. Islanders are certainly famil- iar with Mr. Lemay’s work. Be- ginning his professional career as a performer, Mr. Lemay is a veteran with the Charlottetown Festival, appearing in Anne, Be- linda, and Korndorg 1582, as well as three vears with Les Feux Fol- lets, including the National Tour in 1974. Most recently, Mr. Lemay choreographed the adaptation of Anne of Green Gables performed at the Confederation Centre of the Arts last fall by the royal Winnipeg Ballet.
