Piano And Last evening in Hearts Memorial Hall. the pupils of Miss Lillian Mc- Kenzie appeared in their annual re- cital, before a large and appreciative audience. The playing of the young- er pupils was very creditable to both themselves and their instructress. while the senior pupils rendered many difficult compositions, both vocal and piano, in masterly style, showing careful training and prac- tice. The vocal solos by Miss Jean Beaton were very effectively render- and more will be heard of her. The piano solos "Norwegian Bridal Pro- cession," (Grieg), and "Polichinelli," (Rachmariinoffi were played with effect and expression by Miss Nancy Weeks.
