BALTIC The inexorable hand oi' death stretched forth at Baltic on May 18th, 1933, to claim one of its mostl prominent residents in the person of George Riley. Mr. Riley, who was in his seventy-first year, had always enjoyed robust health until a few months previous to his death. Shortly after the first symptoms oi' his fatal malady appeared he was t_akr:n_ to the Prince County ,I-Iosplml, from>there to the Mont- real General Hospital, where he rc- celved the medical attention ot some of the most skilful physicians _ in all Canada, but they could not avail against the hand of the Grim Reaper. He was accompanied on his trip home by his brother, Hon. Senator Dan Riley of High River, Alberta, and a special nurse from the hospital. He survived thc trip only a. short time. The late Mr. Riley was blessed with a genial. ,good nature and had the facultyj oi’ making friends of all with whom he came in contact.
