Al- though not enjoying the best of health for the past few years. he had retired feeling as well as ill- ual on the night of his death. but shortly after retiring he lutk cumbed to a heart attack. Mr. MacPherson was born in Bellevue, P.E.l.. the son of Donald and Mary MacPherson. Following hi; marriage he lived in Glen William for some time. from where he moved to Caledonia some years later. He was a member of the Cale- donia Presbyterian Church and was very faithful in attending each Sunday. He leaves to mourn his passing his sorrowing widow. the former Effie MacDonald. Glen William. son. John D. MacPherson. Charlottetown. and a daughter. (Sadie) Mrs. S. D. Reid, Mon- tague; also three grandchildren. A daughter, Mary, predeceased him in 1933.
