Sunday, the 22nd. If you have any suggestions, let us know. The slogan for Carnival is going to be "There's No Business Like SNCW Business". The graphic design for our buttons and beer mugs will be drawn by next weekend and will probably appear in the next issue of the SUN. ‘ There were a lot of good prizes last year. This year they .are going to be even better. Prizes for the sports tournaments, the car rally, snow sculp— tures, Chugging contests, races and so on will be ‘ posted in the Student Union Office and in the SUN after Christmas. Applicaticn forms for the various beans will be available the week before Carnival. Advance Sale tickets will also start the week before Carnival. Each student must present his student I.D. and is allowed to buy at most two (2) tickets for each event. Passes Will also be available at this time. Sane people have comments that we are writing these Winter Carnival articles a long time before the carnival starts. The reason we are doing this is because there will only be Um more issues of the SUN before Christmas and there will only be two issues of the SUN between the time we return from Christmas break and Winter Carnival week begins. We (the Coumi ttee) feel that we will have more time' now than we will have after Christmas to write these articles. There are still plenty of jobs if anyone wants to join the Committee. If you feel you have an idea, or if you want to see something else during Carnival, just let us know. Meetings are every Manday night, 6:00 p.m. in the Marian Hall lounge. We would like any interest- ed groups, societies, classes, etc. , that would like to put on a skit or play in the Campus Cabaret to let us know as soon as possible. The Committee needs all the help it can get. If you feel like working and joining in the fun. just let us know. I can be reached at 218 Marian Hall, the Student Union Office or at the SUN office on 4th Floor Main.
