     The vastly improved Lady 
     
     Panther Field Hockey squad 
     
     travel to Newfoundland and 
     
     square off with the nationally 
     
     ranked Memorial University 
     
     Beothuks. When asked to 
     
     comment on her team’s chances 
     
     this weekend, Coach Barb 
     
     Mullaly stated ‘‘Memorial is 
     
     presently ranked number six in 
     
     the country, they have a strong, 
     
     well-balanced team and are a 
     
     definite contender for AUAA 
     
     honors. However, if we keep 
     
     the pressure on them, and con- 
     
     tinue to improve as we have 
     
     each outing, Memorial is in 
     
     for a surprise. We’ve been 
     
     creating the scoring opportu- 
     
     nities, but have been unable

     tied St. Mary’s and we all

     with St. Mary’s, it was a 
     
     penalty kick late in the game 
     
     that got us through that game. 
     
     We also realize Mt. A. is still 
     
     smarting over the 4 zip beating 
     
     we put on them last week and 
     
     they are itching to get us on 
     
     their field. Thi is a key week- 
     
     end for us, and we’ll have to 
     
     be sharp for both games.””
