Mrs. Henry Burdett. and Mrs. Alex Buch- anan were chosen delegates to attend the annual convention of the Wo- men's Institutes to be held in Char- lottetown in July. Letters from the Red Cross were read by the Secretary and teacher, also a. letter from Mrs. Mubch was read in regard to helping the Red Cross. The meetinfl voted to pay three dollars to the Red Cross for the toxold used to immunize the children in the district against diph- theria. BRIDGETOWN SCHOOL EXAMINATION The annual examination of Bridge- town school was held on June 27, with a large number of parcnts and visitors present. The pupils were examined in the various subjects by their teacher Miss Georgia Ding-well assisted by the Rev. Mr. McLeod‘ and Mrs. James Campbell andl showed by their ready answers that I they had done a good years work.
