GEORGE W. DREW Many citizens learned with deep regret a few days ago of the sud- den passing of Mrs. George W. Drew at the Prince Edward Island Hospital ‘early Monday morning, November 30th. 1936. Mrs. Drew. formerly Eliza. Har- ris, daughter of the late Frederick Harris and Fanney Bartlett of England. was born at Charlotte- town about eighty years ago. She spent practically all her life here except for a. few years in Amherst and Halifax. where she had alarge circle of friends by whom she was hcld in esteem and affection. She was the last surviving mem- ber of a family of eight. Her hus- band predeceased her twenty-one years ago. Mrs. Drew was one of Char- lottetownis respected citizens, a member of the Methodist, now the Trinity United Church. She was ever ready to help those in need and will be long remembered for her kind and hospitable disposit- ion. She was always happy as a friend remarked: “I never saw Mrs. Drew without a smile." She wns the centre of her home, where all were welcome at any time and where she will be keenly missed. The deep sympathy of all who were acquainted with the deceased will be with her son, I-Inrry, and daughter". Ella, prostratcd‘ as they are with the shock of so sudden a bereavement.
