McEachern,, the well-known plumber of this_`city. is the inventor of a device which is calculated to revolutionise the hot waterheating systems now in use. Mr McEachern’s invention is known as the Sirdarlisat Generator. It has been thoroughly tested, being now used in over two hundred homes in this province, and most flattering testiinonials from all who are using it testify to its worth. The feature of the device which differentiates it from all other systems in use is that by a series of special valves it raises the temperature of the water, quickens the circulation and thereby quickly heats all the radiators in the system. The circhlation commences through the wholelsystem' as soon as the water becomes warm and continues to do so while there is any heat in the water, thus economising fuel and at the same time radiating the utmost quantity of heat. All testimonials given by those \vho are using the Sirdar mention especially the saving of fuel and the rapidity and continu- ance of the circulation of heat. 'I‘he device can be attached to any hot- water heating systehn, and in these days of high-pressure coal prices and other demands, those having these systems should certainly have a talk with Mr McEachern. The device has been in operation in this prpovince for about two years. having been pro- tected by caveat. It was patented in July last in the Dominion of Canada and is now being patented in the United States. Mr McEachern is to be congratulated on his invention, and his many friends anticipate for him a reward that will be commensurate with the great boon he has evolved for the benefit of those who are obliged to buy coal.
