was estimated to be $1,225, an aver-
age of $105 monthly. At the Home
they were boarding 39 girls, s`o the
average cost: of maintenance per
girl Per month was $2.69, which in-
cluded their boarding, some furnish-
bill and some sundries. Then they
kept up a matron, a sewing mistress,
and a pupil teacher, and insurance
was another item in their expendi-
ture. She did not think they could
run the Home at. any less coat than
that. They had been fortunate thus
