Oats came in for fair buying from shippers and American houses, while good commercial demand appeared in barley, which included buying for shippers ac- counts and American interests. I-ledging'sales in both grains were liberal but well taken. American houses were on both sides of the market in rye trade. but the buying outweighed the selling and prices moved upward for good gains. Flax trade was light.
