Biliousness turns pleasure into pain, uiness into misery, and leisure hours vu elernity Of sgony, for thousande of menand women. Biliousness 18 especially preva a at this season of the year. The extreme heat causes derangement of the liver, as well a» of other organs. Something that will restore natural cca ditions, that will tone the liver, aud regu- late its action, 30 as to§*csure there cretion of exactly ‘he quantity of bile re- quired, is what all dilious persons need. And such they bave in Dodd’s Dyspep sia Tablets, which promptly and thoroug's- ly cure Biliousness. The small, brown Tablets, which go with every box of Vodd’s Dyspepsia Tab- lets, are intended expecially for the cure of Biliousress. They contain ingredients that check the flow of bile when it 's too free, aud thus prevent or cure Biliousness, which means simply—Bile in the blood. Tbe liver having been regulated in this way, the blood is no longer laden with the surp!us bile, becomes pure and rich. The peculiar yellowish tiot in the skin that marks bilious persons, disappears, the eye- balle regain their natural color, and the health is improved (a every way. The bowels, whic! generally suffer some derangement, when Biliousness appears, are also brought back to their natural healthy condition, and promptly carry oi, and expel all poisonous waste matter. Thus Dod’s Dyspepsia Tablets are the only hope for the bilious, and they never fail tocure. Trv them, and be convinced. Pressure of the Sea, There are spots in the ocean where the water is five miles deep. If it is true that the pressure of the water on any body in the water is one pound to the square inch for every two feet of one of the ‘‘five mile holes’’ would have @ pressure about it of 18,200 feet to ev- ery square inch. There is nothing of buman manufacture that would resist such a pressure. That it exists there is no doubt. It isknown that the pressure on a well corked glass bottle at the depth of 300 feet is so great that the water will force its way through the pores of the glass. It is also said that pieces of wood have been weighted and sunk in the sea tosuch a depth that the tissues have become so condensed that the wood has lost its buoyancy and would never float again. It could not be even made to burn when dry.—Chi- cago Chronicle.
