We were divided into two aruups. 21d (Moon) Mullins in charge of the first group who wentvalong Kenxlngton Road and Maurice DeCoste in charge of the other group who went along the McIntyre Highway. We hiked along and noticed nests of birds and traces of dog: etc, until we poached our destin- ation. Then we, had dinner. The first group did not have much trouble in preparing theq-neals hut Tommy Kays of the ‘other group could not not his potatoes boiled so he ate them raw. When dinner was over, we cleaned up and ‘scouted around for a while. P. L. Frank Zaliem was in charge of the entire party for the rest of the day and laid a trail which the boys almost broke their necks in trying to follow. Then we played some outdoor games. Then supper time came. George Howatt had eggs and bacon, but forgot all about the bacon until we were read to pack. The eggs. which he had, stuck to the pain. Tommy Keys ate half of his sar- dines and would have drank his hot chocolate if Eddy Kaye had given lilm sugar instead of tea iehves. After supper we cleaned up and reached home about ‘i230 p. m.
