     Mr. MacLeod has had considerable experience in 
     
     the grocery business having operated a small grocery 
     
     for some 17 years. His recent expansion is due to a 
     
     gradual increase in trade and the growth of this sec- 
     
     tion of the city as a built-up area of "considerable 
     
     proportion. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Mr. Robinson is well known in the city. He is a 
     
     veteran of the last war and was employed at both 
     
     DeBlois Bros., and the Halifax Seed Co. Ltd. 
     
    

    
     The "Highland Groceteria" is situated in the 
     
     north-west section of the city--a surrounding that 
     
     lends itself well to the establishment of an up-to-date 
     
     business t'irm. Contractor in the construction of the 
     
     new store was Mr. George D. MacKen2ie. 
     
    
   
   
    
     A new modern grocery store today opens its doors 
     
     at the corner of Spring Park Road and Highland Ave- 
     
     nue. Named the Highland Groceteria, the store is own- 
     
     ed and operated by Mr. Harry C. MacLeod who has 
     
     associated with him as Manager, Mr. H. Nelson Robin- 
     
    
   
   
    
     son. . 
     
    

    
     Spic and span in appearance the store is ideally 
     
    

    
     laid- out for the convenience of the shopper. It boasts 
     
    

    
     . the latest equipment, refrigeration, counter display and 
     
    

    
     lighting. It is a semi-self service store in that the cus- 
     
    

    
     tomers can quickly walk around, assess the value of 
     
     groceries and promptly make their-purchases. ' 
     
    

    
     The store carries a complete line of groceries in- 
     
    

    
     cluding canned goods, meats, fruits, vegetables and
