The bank’s annual report said this form of credit rose by $40,- 000,000 in the year to $2,008,000,- 000 from $1,968,000,000. The increase compared with annual increases of $56,00,000 in 1957, of $281,000;000 in 1956 and of $237,000,000 in 1955.
