Thunder Cloud, whois a big strapping fellow, straight as an arrow, with piercing black eyes, a brighter face than most Indians, and altogether, a noble represent- ative of his race, fell in love with the ar- tiet, and now they are married. Thunder Cloud was born in Cavghnawaga country in Canada, about forty years ago, and a few years later was carried as & papoose to Nortbera Minnesota. His mother was a fuil biood Sioux, and his father a half breed Chippewa. When twenty years of ace he wastaken to Europe by Buffalo Bill and was the most admired of the red- skins who appeared with the Wild West Show before the nobility.
