FUNERAL SERVICES-The fun- eral of Mrs. Frank Riley was held Tuesday morning from her late residence 308 Richmond St, at. 8.45 to St. Dunstans Basilica. Services at the church was conducted by Father lvllaoConnac and at the grave by Father Keefe. The all bearers were Messrs. Wilfred r- tell. John Blacqtiiere, Henry Sher- nan, Lawrence Peters, Edmund Christopher and Edward Burke. RECEIVES SAD NEWS—- The New Glasgow News says: 1m. FIRE AT MURRAY RIVER.- A forty-five minute blaze in a dwel- lng house owned by Mr. Freeman Roynolds, Murray River early last evening caused several hundred I dollars damage. The kitchen, where the fire originated, and a bed room above were considerably damaged by fire while a large part of the remainder the buildine" was damaged by water. A defect- ive flue near the kitchen stove was believed to be the cause of the fire. boss was covered by insurance, it was announced.
