      first
      prizes
      in
      the
      BOOKS
     
     
      IN
      CANADA
      STUDENT
      WRITING
      AWARDS

      Landecker,

      Vancouver,
      and
      Alison
     
     
      Calder,
      of
      Saskatoon,
      out
      of
      more
      than
      600
      entries.
     
     
      This
      year,
      with
      the
      help
      of
      BOOK
      CITY,
      the
      number
     
     
      of
      prizes
      has
      been
      increased
      and
      the
      contest
      expanded
     
     
      to
      include
      community
      college
      as
      well
      as
      university
     
     
      students.
      There
      will
      be
      3
      prize
      winners
