commodation is very highly appreciated.

Whatever the motive was which prompt-
severely critized no doubt policeman Peters
hashis faults,faults whichin his relation to
the enforcement of the Scott Act were
_‘chargeable alike to himself and former
council, but, his dismissal without warn-
- ing and apparently sprung on the council
I with the appointment of an outsider at a
_ higher salary than has ever been paid to a
Summerside policeman came as a distinct
__ shock to citizens generally.
