To us, the Curran dz Brigxs aut- fit look good to repeat their vic- tory of last year. They have lost Oatway. Mulhollnnd and probably some of the old-timers who may retire. They are getting some r2- lnforccnic is who are at present only very larlzc question marks. but we Oxlicct to see at least some of those newcomers prove valuable additions to the club. We still have Joe Bernard. though there is a possibility that Joe may be slow in getting started because of a siege of pneumonia late last win- ter. We still have Cece Powell. and you will remember that Powell had a vcry good year last yeiir. Les Gnudct will not be with us. and his big hm will unclouhtcdiy he missed. Benny Grady is filling in very well at the hot corner. however, and there is another third sncker to join the club.
