T. Tanton, the bid was ninety dollars over the highest bidder. DI. Tanton was the pre idem of the Summerside Driving Park Co. for some years. There was ti good representation nl local bidders and there was much spirited bidding. The auction was conducted by Mr. T. M. Linkle‘.ter. The trotting park comprises about 13 acres and ha; some remnants of the horse shccs left but the large exhibition bulld- irig was long since torn down.
