     May 5-11: National Forestry Week wiii feature an open house, ma11 dispiays, 
     
     tree piantings, and seTf-guided woodiand waTks. On May 8th, an open house 
     
     wiTi be heid at the J. Frank Gaudet Forest Nursery (Took for the compiex 
     
     with the iarge greenhouses on Upton Road) of the P.E.I. Department of 
     
     Energy and Forestry on May 8th from 3:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. ‘ 
     
    

    
     May 9: The IsTand Nature Trust wiii hon its Annuai Meeting at the Farm Centre 
     
     starting at 7:30 P.M. The guest speaker wiii be announced. _ 
     
    

    
     May 16-18: Venus, Mars, and Jupiter wiii form a line across the western sky 
     
     with the crescent moon crossing over each pianet in turn over the three

     May 17: This is Arbor Day in Prince Edward Isiand. Why not piant a tree or 
     
     trees and shrubs for wdeTife feeding purposes. 
     
    

    
     May 25: Bain Birdathon Day. Members are invited to dust off their binocuiars 
     
     and either head for their favorite birding sites or Toad up the bird 
     
     feeder, sit back, and watch (with paper and pen in hand of course!). The

     virtuaiiy every day of the week. There wiii be beach ciean-ups, waiks of 
     
     naturai areas, canoe trips, watershed work and tours, openings of some 
     
     sites and brochure reieases, video shows, a nature traiT workshop, and
