We know students need lots of good cheap food- other than the Kraft dinner/ Pizza routine, so maybe we'll give you a few new places to check out. If you want us to review some place just send a note to us care of the X- Press. "Right now Arby’s has a great deal on, 5 roast beef burgers for 5 loonies. Great to split ona cheap date -just adda large pop ($1.05),andtwo straws. Most people tend to overlook Arby’s, but we feel they provide a break from the Mc (Is .that really meat?) burger. Arby’s has a pretty varied menu for fast food, subs to stuffed baked potatoes, and don’t forget “..Bacon Cheddar Curly Fries...”. They've also got a nice atmosphere - sorry to disappoint you - no kiddie playground, but they do have lots of comfy semi-private booths. the only true drawback is that it is a bit far from campus - especially if you are like us and have to walk. Jennifer: |'ll rate Arby’s three cookies anda few crumbs. Arby’s gets three cookies because it is good, but it is fast food. Al: I'll give Arby’s three cookies and a glass of milk to chase it down because it is a bit expen- sive for fast food, and it is not really worth the walk unless you are at the mall. Shannon: |’Il have to break with my partners and give Arby’s 2 cookies. Roast beef still is a little too much like Sunday dinner with the family forme. Oneredeeming feature is that the dining room is usually close to empty so you can act as silly as you want. And the cookies really aren’t as good as Mom’s. Where's the beef? Ask Arby's. Rating System 5 cookies: better than Mom’s home cooking 4 cookies: better than the cafeteria, but not as good as Mom’s 3 cookies: great if you are not hungry and not fussy 2 cookies: only if nothing else is open | cookie: almost as good as Kraft Dinner 12/X-Press/September 23, 1993
