The church, which was filled with friends and well wishers of the bride and groom, wss decorated by the. girl friends of the bride. Banks of ferns and potted plants made an appropriate back- ground lfor the bridal party, who stood under an arch of sweet peas. The bride entered the church with her father to the strains of the Wedding March, played by the or- ganist, Miss Strong. The bride wore a lovely gown of Chantilly lace and net with long flowing veil in cap ef- fect, fastened with wreath of pearls and orange blosoms. A pearl neck- lace, her only ornament, was the gift of the groom. She carried s lovely bouquet of butterfly roses. Miss Jean Townsend, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid and wore s. pretty dress of pale pink crepe de chine with e. large picture hat of breezee straw. Her bouquet was of pink antoukinum. Mr. Robert Gor- don acted as groomsmsn. The ush- ers were Mr. Frank Townsend and Mr. Albert Linkletter. During the signing of the register, Miss Jesn Wright sang “When Song is Sweet."
