have been already invited out to tea
and a pleasant evening by the people

couraging reports have been received

ing the men. The citizens have
found these lads to be gentlcmanly
and courteous and the soldiers have
now a very different opinion to that
which they formerly held, regarding
the hospitality of our people. The

“Baptist Church Week." Mrs, Chester
McLure 'and Miss Edith Sterns are
receiving the names of families which
arc willing to entertain two or more
soldiers on one night during the com-
