They bave Tue Examiner’s congratulations. _ nd Tue Sewer Bits.--By the provisions of the sewer bill to be submitted to the City Council tonight it is proposed to amalgamate the offices of sewer commissioners and water commissioners, the commission to be known as Water and Sewer Commissioners. The election of the commissioners will take place on the second Wednesday in July, and they will receive $1200 each year until the work iscompleted. ‘This will mean an increase in the ainount already paid the commissioners of $900 a year. The de- tails of construction will te in tne bands of the commissioners, lvis proposed to issue debentures fcr $150,000 bearing in- terest not exceeding 4 per cent. per annum for twenty five years.
