Fixed Light}; East Point. 7 ME Government of Prince Edward Island has given Notice, that on and after the Will day ofJULY, 1867, a light will be exhibited from a Lighthouse recently erected on East Point, Prince Edward Island. The light will be afired white light, at an elevation of 130 feet above the lot el of high water, and in clear weather should be seen at a distance of 18 miles. The tower is octagonal, white, 60 feet high from base to vane, and stands ‘200 yards in shore from the south side of the point, and in lat. 46° 27' 9" N., long. 6] ° 58‘ 15" “'est of Greenwich.
