The fact of this achievement our flbonteniporarys readers do not need ‘to take on the authority of The ‘Guardian. We rcfcr them to their own leading party newspaper, the Toronto Globe. Our contemporary, ,ln its more effective days, used !requently' to derive political spiration from the Globe. Quebec has 2,030 members, Manitoba 6,836.- Alberta 8,749 and Britsh Columbia 5,459. In the frut and vegetable branch Prince Edward Island has but one cooperative organization, namely, theyotatn Growers Association. Or- ganized in 1920 this association has s. membership of 2,200, as against a total membership in fruit and veg- etable organizations in New Bruns wick of 56, Nova Scotia 0i 1,731 (largely made up of apple growers) Quebec of 337, Ontario of 2,271, Manitoba of 1,000, Alberta of 32, and British Columbia of 5,035. Prince Edward Islandis also well represented in marketing organiza- tions dealing with livestock, wool, grass seed, etc. Altogether, an analyss of the figures shows that. this Province is well in the lead in per capita pro- duction of finished agricultural products. Sometimes however the objects seem too large or are of such s. shape that they do not pass reed- lly out of the stomach. This has meant a surgical operation in a number of cases. After passing through the tube through the throat to the stomach, into the stomach, the pain and dis- comfort disappeared. As an x ray picture showed the coin in the stomach three days afzcrward, and then each day until ten days had passed, the doctor was undecided as to the wisdom of removing it by surgery.
