NEIL CAMPBELL Mr. Neil Campbell, a well known and highly respected resident of Prince Eowarc; lslarid, passed peacefully away at his home, Canoe Cove, on Tuesday evening. Nov. i214, 1936. For the past three years Mr. Campbell had not been in good health but he was able to be around even oi. the day of his pasing, so that his sudden de- parture came as a shock to his family and the whole community Born, 76 years ago, at .lance Cove, the son of the late Archibald Canipbeli and his wife. Catherine Maciiachern, he lived there with his family during the earlier part of his life, When a young man he went to Winchester, Mass., where .lie resided for some years. Here he was united in marriage to Sarah Jane Maci ichern who predeceas- ed him some three years ago. Later he returned to Prince Edward Is- land and took up farming at Canoe Cove where he re.-lded until his death. Mr. Campbell was long a mem- ber of Canoe Cove Church where he was an ardent worker. His gi eat interests were his home and his church and he gave faithful and devoted service in both, His fine Christian character and deep in- terest in the welfare of the com- munity, made for him many friends who mourn with deep sorrow thc sad loss.
