Northern Shrike - 1 at Argyle Shore, Apr. 11 Yellow-rumped Warblers - at least 8 successfully wintered at Savage Harbour this winter. 1 seen on Feb. 8, 8 on Mar. 8, 4 on Mar. 11, and 8 on Mar. 16 at Noreen Kelly's about the roof of the house, the few hardwood trees in front of_the house, and the hardwood woodlot to the north and west of the house. Although there is a well patronized feeder on the deck the warblers were not seen there. In winter in this country they feed on bayberries.
