If at Will Examine Freight Rates V OTTAWA (CP) — Transport Minister Hees said Monday he will look into a report that‘ the CNR’s Newfoundland division has put into effect a 3.6-per-cent freight rate increase. The increase, ordered by the board of transport commissioners for Jan. 15, was suspended by the government until at least March 1 to afford time for eight provinces ——all except‘ Ontairo and Quebec —to make submission to the cab- inet against the increase.
