Thé new volume of Field Marshal Count von Moltke’s memoirs, which has just been published, contains a number of letters to and from his wife before and after their mar. riage. The volume gives delightful pictures of the simple home life of Queen Victoria and her family at Balmoral, where General Von Moltke visited in 1855 as aide to the ‘Prussian Crown Prince Frederick A curious feature of all the volumes yet issued is that Gen. Von Moltke only makes rare and casual references to Prince Bismarck. It is not known whether Gen. Von Maeltke pure posely avoided making more extended refer ences to-him in his letters or whether it ig due to editing. -_ Oe answer to Problem in The Ex- aminer, Nov. 21st, 18942.
