woman of great physical energy and of
active mind and one who was known and
highly respected by a large oircls of
acquaintances and friends. Her loving
minlstrntions in many <\ sick room, her
spmpathetic words, lior bright sho
cheerful demeanor will not soon
he forgotten. For many years
Mm Tuplln was a faithful member
ol' the Methodist Church nt Margate. On
the morning of Sunday, July Bth, she
attended service at Margate and after-
wards walked to her home. Though not
enjoying her usual good health she gave
no indication to her friends that she was so
soon to be stricken down. A heavy stroke
ofparalysis which came on the afternoon of
that dayrendered her helpless and deprived
her of the power of speech. For six
weeks she lingered before the end came.
Six of nerohlldren were at her bedside
when ahe passed away. The funeral
services were conducted on Sunday after-
nood August lfith, by hcr pastor Rev.
J. B. Gough and were largely attended.
