At that time, a public tour of the trail will be offered. NEW MUSEUM ACT: The new Museum Act, passed during the recent session of the Island Legislature, should be of special interest to members of the Trust. It foresees an increased priority for natural history in museum interpretation for the province. Essentially, the Act transforms the Heritage Foundation into a provincial museum of man and nature. The name has been changed to the Prince Edward Island Museum and Heritage Foundation, and the purpose is expressed thus: "... to study, collect, preserve, intrepret, and protect the human and natural heritage of Prince Edward Island for the use, benefit and enjoyment of the people of the province."
