Nr. William Dooley. son of Mr. John
Dooley. caretaker of the R. C. Cemet- _
erry. will be sorry to learn that he
met with a very severe accident
Thursday afternoon. It appears while
he was working in the bam loft, he
missed his footing and fe-ll. with the
'result that he had his breast painfully
crushed. Wright‘s ambulance was hur-
riedly summoned and the injured lad
conveyed to the Charlottetown Hos-
pital. whc-re he now lies in a critical
condition. _

noon yesterday when the Charlotte-
town Steam Navigation Company's
Wharf at the foot of Great George _
Streep, was offered at auction and
sold. lt was knocked down to Messrs
Bruce Stewart & Company. Ltd..
whose bid was $15,000. The bidding
started at $12,000. Mr. R. Beairsto
was the auctloneer. Messrs Bruce
Stewart & Co., are to be congratulat-
ed upon securing this valuable prc-
prety.
