temperance sermon in the Baptist church
on Sunday evening: He referred to his

at the Scott Act elections and by aiding

entirely due to the indiderence of the
professing Christians. He made men-
tion of the hearty support of the Pleb's-
cite by the Baptist clergy at the recent
Baptist Convention at Amherst. He
hoped and believed that the Baptists of
P. E. I. would prove true on the 29th.
